Okay, so I proccess orders from a website called www.thewigs.com. We don't stock anything but Wigs by Pierre and Hollywood items, we order them from the different manufacturers. Doing my job effectively hinges on other people doing their job effectively and I hate it! I have two examples:
A customer orders a wig and pays an extra $68.85 for 48hr shipping. So, knowing this certain company ships same day and we get it the next day because we're both in California, I don't worry about it...untill the next day when I don't get it. I call and the guy acts like a total DUMBASS and doesn't know why it didn't ship, so he offers to ship it that day. I said fine. So, therefore, because he's such a DUMBASS and didn't ship it by the correct time, my customer's package is a day late. I'd be pissed if I were the customer. Who does that make look bad? Me.
A customer orders a wig and we promise her she'll have it by Friday. So, knowing it's a bit on the fringe time of getting it shipped the same day, I decide to indicate on the Purchase Order MUST SHIP TODAY! CUSTOMER NEEDS BY FRIDAY!. You'd think they may get the hint. HELL NO! It ships this morning. The representatives answer? I'm sorry. Good, I'm glad you're fucking sorry...you piece of shit! GOD!
Besides customer's, I had another thing that pissed me off today. One of my coworkers didn't think I was efficiently keeping track on certain items being shipped, so he went to my boss and "suggested" I should do better. Granted, it's a teeny tiny office, so I overheard the convo (of course I couldn't understand it because I don't speak Korean, which is another thing that bugs me is when I don't even know if they're talking about me right in front of my face...but I think that's paranoia. Anyway) and my boss comes in and suggests a few things I should do. I kindly tell her that I do those things. And she says, "Well, just letting you know." LOOOOORD HAVE MERCY!!!! Anyways, it's a good damn thing I get off an hour early today or else I'd explode. Hope your day's been better than mine!
