Annie 02-09-2006, 09:40 PM Good luck hellodolly! Those sound tough.
I'll be working on my thesis as usual...
My BF leaves tomorrow morning for a MONTH. And I'm totally behind in my thesis so his being away will give me a chance to concentrate on my work.
Oh, and I'm picking up a couple windows on Saturday that I had new glass put in, so I might put those in my cabin as well.
buddingbeauty 02-09-2006, 10:38 PM I've had a tremendously busy week with work and most particularly, my calculus class. Tomorrow I'm writing up a proposal for an econ paper and cleaning up my room. Saturday my baby comes to whisk me away for a romantic evening :)
chikygrl13 02-10-2006, 03:29 AM Oh I have SO much reading to catch up on!! Papers to grade, papers to write!
Saturday Shane and I are going up to Santa Maria to visit his mum and sis.
Sunday I have tickets to Mamma Mia! (yes I saw it last weekend too!!) with a friend.
And since my grandmother (who I live with) is going to the mountains for the weekend Shane is spending 3 nights at my house!
Oh and the opening ceremony for the olymipics are on Friday!!
jesique 02-10-2006, 10:06 AM Same as everyweekend....not much! :D Lots of relaxing...maybe watch a movie.
We've got to take my car somewhere...so that it runs so that when we get home we can check the transmission fluid. lol.
Now that spells F-U-N!!!
Nadine.
fos4snt 02-10-2006, 10:56 AM Well, definitely not the same as every weekend for me. Hanging out with my kids... alone. We're expecting a big ole snow storm, so hopefully it will stall out and dump a LOT on us. Me and the kids intend to keep a roaring fire in the fireplace, watch some Olympics, maybe some Avatar the Last Airbender (the first 4 episodes are now out on DVD.. YAY!), maybe play a game or two, do a workout video together (Cher, yeah baby) and giggle a LOT. Might even do some housework, but prolly not. LOL. Who knows. I might have to go grocery shopping in the snow, since I have to go to Emans house tonight for his birthday party with his rents. I haven't seen them since before Litical and I started dating ~ and they weren't too happy when we started dating, being Litical's "other" parents.... :o Should be interesting.

Emzak 02-10-2006, 12:02 PM I really, really, really, REALLY have to do my paper. A 10-page trial brief. Sigh. Hopefully I will stay off this board long enough to get least cough up a first draft. :(
Momma Nessa 02-10-2006, 12:07 PM well not to far from fossy so we are gonna have snow... watch ON DEMAND and rest.. been a long lousy week.
elle.jay 02-10-2006, 12:56 PM We're going apartment huntin all day tomorrow, and then getting a hotel room Saturday night. I'm excited!! There's some cute places were gonna check out, hopefully closer to my school...so I don't have to drive 20 miles there and back every day!!
Have a good weekend everyone!

fos4snt 02-10-2006, 03:42 PM No Olympic's folks?? Sheesh... I'm gonna be sucked into the tube watchin' the games like I am EVERY damn Olympic's. Doesn't matter... winter has skiing, ice skating, speed skating, hockey, sledding, luuuuge... summer has gymnastics, weight lifting, high jumping, 100 yard dash, hurdles, long jumps, shot put, soccer, bicycling, swimming, diving, ballroom dancing...
Shit. I was never much of an athlete, but MAN do I get into it! Actually, that's not entirely true. I played soccer, basketball, but I took speed skating most seriously... only on rollerskates. LOL.

Phos...I FREAKIN' love the Olympics!!! I was a fan even before I got to actually go to the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta....and ever since then...I'm a freak.
I'll definately be sucked into the boobtube watching every event I can lay my eyes on.
My fav is keeping up with the medal count and watching the US kick ass!!! :D

WOW! I'm jealous. Even though that was the one with the bombing. LOL. I am an addict. I have fantasies of one of my kids growing up and being in the Olympics... but I'd NEVER push them. Only encourage. :D My daughter does gymnastics and ballet... and she's good at both. Ya NEVER know. They'll prolly be like me and kick butt at whatever their sport is until they hit puberty, then SULK out big time and be loser little shits for about 10 years before they wake up again and go OH MAN!!! *deep sigh* ROFLAO But, maybe they'll surprise me.

Emzak 02-10-2006, 08:30 PM We'll be playing a lot of music this weekend. We have two Irish traditional sessions to go to and a gig to see (a great Cape Breton fiddler is playing at our favourite pub).
That sounds really fun. Take me with you PLEASE! Sob...

That was a crazy day...I was actually in the Park the morning of...but then we started our drive home so we were long gone by the time it happened. *grin*
Good memories.
My problem with the olympics...is that I start to think...Hey...I could do that!!! and then I get hurt.
Or I realize that I'll never be an olympic athlete...and I get really sad. *no grin*
LOL. MOUSE...don't worry...I root for the Canadians also!!! I love yall's national anthem *singing in a really loud/obnoxious voice* OHHHH CANADA!!!!
Nadine.
