MTaG Party next weekend--now ONLINE!

Yup, you heard me right.

Since so many people want to come but can't for various reasons, I have decided to take an hour out of the real-life MTaG party next weekend to do an "online" party on this board.

So mark your calendars:

Date: Saturday, July 15, 2006
Time: 8:00 PM EST

The chat box will be expanded to full screen to accommodate a group chat. Photos will be posted in real time. It will be a blast! :D

If you can't be at the MTaG party in person, be sure to log in during that time and hang out with us "virtually".

Note: Free food and alcohol will only be provided in the real-life version of the party. ;)

Damn!!! I can't even come to that one either because I'll be at work with no computer access....sheesh! I'm tempted to take my old computer to work and set it up just for this special event!!! Then I just have to figure out how to get internet access....I'd have to use a dial-up....

Okay party people... this is a notice to all those attending or considering attending:

The Crooked Chimney Ranch will be open for business by no later than 3:15 in the afternoon on Friday. IF you are not working on Friday and are coming early, please note that while I am trying to get out of work entirely on Friday, I have not yet been able to ascertain if this will be possible (3 staff, 1 on maternity leave, one out sick now for four full business days... :( ) and I do not get off work until 2:00 on Fridays during the summer.

SO, if by some good fortune traffic is good to you and you find yourself in the panhandle before 3:15 on Friday, may I recommend using the MTaG Party Handbook you have been emailed (or I will happily email you, provided you PM me with your email address) and visiting one of the local attractions?

There has been some talk of organizing a Saturday morning tubing trip. We do not need to make reservations to do so, but I wanted to apprise anyone who might be considering coming early afternoon Saturday that folks might be off tubing at Butts Tubes. This is not a certainty, however, just a potential party advisory for early afternoon arrivals on Saturday.

TUBING!!! :D *happydance* I'm super excited to go tubing...I feel like I'm going home!!! Plus I got a new swimsuit for the first time in 3 years and I look totally hot in it! :D

Phos...I think Alec wants to leave here early to beat lunch time traffic in the big cities...so I'm not sure what time we'll be there. If it's before 3:30 we'll just check out the sites! :D

I get paid on Friday.....don't tempt me....and I fixed the A/C in my car yesterday....the button wasn't plugged in all the way because of the way the dash was pulled out when my stereo was stolen....guess my mechanic couldn't figure that out....so that's one less thing I have to pay to fix. If I could figure out how to take the door apart to replace the lock and the handle I'd save another 150 bucks for labor.... :D

If I didn't have to work....and maybe work on Sunday afternoon too cuz we lost our Sunday 3-11 person....I'd be in my car and on the road at about 1PM on Friday after I pickup my check. After the past few weeks and last night with the residents it wouldn't be too difficult to quit my job. The difficulty would come in finding another one quick enough to pay the August bills....lol!

*rubs chin in contemplation* I could always ask Litical if he and the other MTaG guys could figure out how to get your door panel off and replace the lock, if you think you could get the PART. It's not that hard to remove a door panel. Usually when the door is open fully, there are some brackets and screws and whatnot on the frame itself. All cars being different. Maybe you could pick up a Chilton's or Haynes manual at Advanced Auto and see how hard it is to do.

And anyway, there is no need for a LOCK here. No neighbors. :eek: The lady who use to live here always left the HOUSE unlocked. Now, I'd never do THAT, but I frequently leave the car unlocked and stuff outside. :D Just remember, the door is always open to you!
