I went apple slummin in college once when security showed up and confiscasted the big bong. Its actually quite tasty.

I'm sure you could smoke regular tobacco too. When I lived on Edgeware Road in London I used to hang out at this hookah bar and I had apple flavored tobacco. Yum!

I went to a hookah bar once with my muslim friend (oh yes, because he isn't extremely devout and didn't insist his catholic wife raise their kids muslim, he isn't a "real" muslim :rolleyes: ) and I thought the whole concept of flavored tobacco was just plain NASTY. :eek: And I've been an on/off smoker most of my life ~ but EWWW...

... I'd much rather have a nice Cuban cigar. Or a good Bacarat. Hell, even a Black & Mild is good compared to that nasty, nasty, fakely horrificly badly flavored tobacco. There were quite a few of us there (me the only whitey ~ LOL) and GAWD that crap was nasty. Didn't matter the flavor. Even sitting in there was making me nauseous. I had to go outside for fresh air with his daughter and endure the cat calls from weird middle eastern men. :eek:
