Hi there! This is my first day on this site. Thanks Nessa for your direction in finding my way here - i have had some time to look around, and it seems great!
So, a little about me -
I'm 23 and married to my husband who is 39. We have been together for almost four years and married just over 1 year. we met at work. I had just transfered to a local university where he worked as a computer tech. I was 19 and just started school and was doing work study. My position required me to do some computer stuff that I didn't know how to do, and I had to call for help when I skrewed up the network printers. (oops). This was the first time Chris and I met, but we were both just doing our jobs and didn't pay too much attention to eachother - other than a mutual physical attraction we both admitted to :)
A few months later, I was hired full time at the university as an Admin. Assistant. It was almost Valentines day and the ladies in the office wanted to hook me up with the "cute bachelor" (Chris) we didn't ever let them set us up on a date, but shortly after (around march or so) Chris invited me to lunch. This was our first outing. By May, we were inseperable - and have been that way ever since.
We moved in together after not too long, got married in June 2005 and bought our house together in July 2005. For the longest time (since we work together) nobody even knew we were dating! not because we wanted to keep it a secret (we already lived together) but it was and continues to be important for us to keep our personal lives seperate from work.
Chris had a son from a previous relationship, so Brandon is now 13. He spends all summer with us but just alternate weekends during the school year.
I am a grad student getting my degree in counseling. I will graduate next May, so at that time we have a 3 week vacation planned to go to Mexico (can't wait!) We will be celebrating my graduation, Chris' 40th b-day and our 2 year anniversary.
I'm glad to have found this site (Thanks Nessa) and it is great to hear other people having success in their relationships. I think Marriage is a beautiful thing and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
Nice meeting you all! :)
