Nasmah 02-25-2007, 05:40 PM Yesterday we met Emzak and Zakem in DC, and then had lunch with Em, it was so nice finally meet them both and she is just really really nice (as if we did not know anyway! :D ). I have no pictures because i forgot the camera :o
We even made it on time (ok, just 10 mins late :o ) after having Eric telling me we were going to be late even though we left home at 9am and we were not meeting her until 11...he was also pissed because we forgot her number and would not be able call her if something happened. :eek:
I found out that we have a lot of things in common (like taste for sweaters LOL) and i just wanted to let the people who do not know her yet that she is awesome and just as she is here :)
It is so nice to meet people we have talked to for so long and shared so many things with, I am glad we had the chance to meet Phos and Nessa, and now Emzak and Zakem...and well, soon Trish, Nadine, BB (geographically possible) but i would like to meet you all :D
We are so happy we went and met them!

I love Archives 1 (on the mall) but when I'm there I live at Archives 2 in College Park, MD. (which is INCREDIBLE!!) cause they have all the records after the Civil War.
I LOVE DC!!! I miss it!
I was trying to plan a trip out there this summer, but it looks like there are more collections that are pertentant to my work in Chicago.
Is there anybody here in Chicago?

it will probably be around labor day.
my dad will be inbetween the Wisconsin fair and the Minnisota Fair, and instead of spending the couple of weeks in Indiana he said he would stay in Chicago. That way I can stay with him (in his RV) and SAVE $$$ I don't have right now!!
I'll let you know when I get everything worked out. But it's looking like the end of August, early September.
