Hi all!

I haven't been on here in a very long time, so I forgot my password and all. In short, I had to create a new name. Anyway some of you may know me as "submart" on here or another Age Gap support community.

I just wanted to say Hi and let you all know that I'm back in action. My life has been crazy for the last year or so, but it's finally slowing down slightly.

For those that don't know me, I'm Mary Ann and I'm 23 and am in a relationship with a soon to be 40 year old! :) We've been dating for a year and a half and are in a long distance relationship.

I look forward to chatting with you all.

Well for the last year I've been in the process of preparing for my "future" since I will FINALLY be graduating from college after 5 years. I didn't realize that this would be so much work though!

My decision: I will move across the country (back to my home state) in May to go to 3 more years of school. lol!! I know this doesn't sound too major, but my boyfriend just moved here (to Florida) to be closer to me a couple months ago. I was so excited about us living closer to one another, but now we will be 1,000 miles apart! Oh well.

In addition, moving back closer to home (in Ohio) means dealing with my family! EEEEK. I love my family, but they really drive me nuts.

So why am I making the big move? To save a ton of money and to get a degree in an area I'm interested in. :)

I would never choose LDR if I had choise! Unfortunatell I don't so LDR is what I'm involved in right now. I know studying is very important, but you'r gonna be far from your sweetheart!

I'm moving to central ohio and getting my M.S. in Occupational Therapy.

Kevin is not pissed at all. He is the first one I called after I learned I got accepted and he told me to go to Ohio! I was going to go to a school only 2 hours away from him. However, the school near where Kevin lives is $40,000 a year! I already have loans coming out of my ears, so I went for the cheaper school.

I will put up with the LDR for a while longer. I promised to visit him every 6-8 weeks as long as he paid half the travel costs (and for everything while I visit him)!! :)

Yep! :D We got engaged on Dec. 21st. It was real simple...he made dinner and we had champagne and he just asked me and it was so sweet. :D

We've set the date for August 28, 2007 in Negril, Jamaica! :D There's a thread around here somewhere that has my wedding dress in it! *grin*

Congrats on graduating soon and going to get your Masters! That's so awesome! :D
