Back when I was a kid, my Mom made me read Ann Landers daily. Since then, I've grown up with a terrible addiction to advice columns. My favorites are:

Amy Alkon ~ aka The Advice Goddess. She can be found at www.advicegoddess.com or www.creators.com under Lifestyle features.

Then I also read Annie's Mailbox (also at creators.com) which are the two ladies who use to help Ann Landers.

I also like Carolyn Hax (Tell Me About It, Advice for the under 30 crowd) at www.washingtonpost.com

And the others I like are Ask Amy, also at washingtonpost.com
Dear Prudence, which is a twice weekly column at The Slate

And Dear Margo, through creators.com ~ she was the original Dear Prudence and is also Ann Landers daughter.

I also like Dear Abby at www.dearabby.com

But, I gotta say, Amy Alkon has the most IN YOUR FACE, hilarious, colorful advice ever. She rules.

Any others I'm missing? :D

Annie's Mailbox is printed in my local paper. I'll have to check out Amy Alkon though, never heard of her.

She's da BOMB, Poll. Cracks me up EVERY time. No more colorful use of words anywhere in ANY advice column. Enjoy. ;)

She's listed up there, Nessa. ;) Both Dear Margo (the original Dear Prudence) and the new one.

Back then, it was all online. I think the site is www.breakupgirl.com. Not sure if it's still around but last I heard, they published a book based on all the online columns.
