chikygrl13 02-26-2006, 12:48 AM Shane is in Santa Maria this weekend visiting his mother (who is dying).
I called him this evening to see how everything is going and to bring me back a bottle of Riesling from our favorite vineyard. (Addamo in Orcutt, CA)
Well when I hung I up I said "I love you" I've said this before (MANY TIMES) and he's always responded by saying "I care about you, or it's nice to hear", or something along those lines. He's never been able to say I love you, which I understand, he's not ready to say it.
Well after we hung up, he called me right back and said "I do love you, you know that right?" I just started crying!! In the middle of Save-On I just wept! And I said "I know, but it's nice to hear it. And I love you too." Then he said "I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing you tomorrow".
I know he loves me, all of his actions say that he loves me. However, it is SO nice to finally hear it!!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

My bf took a while to say them too, although very early on he said that "there is only one word in the english language to describe how I feel for you".

did you see the movie Ghost... he always told her 'ditto' when she said I love you.
then he died.
and tried to tell her I love you but she never believed it till he said "tell her DITTO"
