My name is Barbie, I'm 19 years old and I come from Sweden . . my SO is Henry, he's 47 and from Los Angeles. We have been a couple for 6 months. We just got engaged (he is a fast mover). . . but are currently living apart most of the time. . .as soon as we get married I will move to L.A.
We have 3 Pomeranian dogs in our little 'family' and no kids.

This is HORRIBLE!!! Especially when you have no idea when you'r going to meet! But that's a greeting forum, so if you want to discuss LDR welcome to this thread in Relationship support forum. There are quite a few people who can tell you their stories and share experience;)

Hmm, our story then. . .it's kind of strange. .
I was in Los Angeles for work ( i work as a model) and had just finished the day and decided to go and have dinner with a friend of mine from LA... When I sat in the restuarant I saw this really handsome man. . .and I couldn't stop looking at him. He was having business dinner so for obvious reasons he could not flirt with me even though I saw I catched his eye too. . .
I was dying for him to come up to me, but he didn't. . until I was about to go home and he ran after me asking for my number. . .i gave it to him and we went out on a date the next evening. . .I then realised I wasnät just physically attracted but also we had SOO much in common. .
I went back to Sweden and he came to visit me, I visited him and so on...and after about three months, he wanted me to move in, I told him no because I don't want to live together before I get married. .so he said he knew he wanted to be with me for the rest of his life, let's get married. . .
So now I'm planning the big white wedding which is to be held in America. . . .I'm looking forward to it. . .I'm so happy, happier than I ever thought I would be in my life!
