Today on the hot seat, we have MTaG's favorite Texan--jesique, a.k.a. Nadine! :D
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=7&dateline=1165026466
Jesique is a long-time MTaG member. We have shared with her all her joys and all her sorrows, so I asked myself, is there anything about her that I don't already know?
The answer was a resounding YES!, hence this interview. ;)
What is the one thing you most want to change about the world?
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=7&dateline=1165026466:
I would change all the bad drivers into good drivers.
Who has had the most influence in your life?
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=7&dateline=1165026466:
That's probably split half and half between my parents and Alec. My parents of course because they raised me to be the person I fundamentallly am deep down. But Alec has been such an influence on my grown up years...and I know he will continue to be for a long time. He's an amazing person and he influences me to be my best.
If you could meet any famous person, who would it be?
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=7&dateline=1165026466:
Hmmm...that's a hard one. I would love to meet Patrick Stewart from Star Trek. He's very sexy to me. :D

What are five things that are in your fridge right now?
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=7&dateline=1165026466:
Ranch dressing, Dr Pepper, Butter, a huge jug of water in case of emergancy, strawberries.
Tell us two truths and one lie--the other members will be asked to guess which is which.
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=7&dateline=1165026466:
-I taught myself to be left handed.
-I was a huge New Kids on the Block fan and kinda still am.
-I can curl my tongue in weird and interesting ways.
Sdoah 03-17-2007, 10:09 PM Hmmm.....this is a hard one, but I'm going with #1 as the lie.
Shan
Emzak 03-17-2007, 10:45 PM I think #3 is definitely true. HAHA! :D
I pick #1 as the lie too. ;)
Goldfire 03-17-2007, 11:33 PM #1
Dammit Nadine, when will I see you in Maxim? :p
lambchop 03-18-2007, 12:25 AM #3 all the way. :)
Nasmah 03-18-2007, 12:38 AM #2 has to be the lie.
Most of us have been huge fans of some group of the kind (see: New kids on the block, Backstreet boys, Take that or whatever) but i do not think any of us still are :D :p *Looks down in shame remembering the 'Take That' posters hanging on the wall*
Plus, # 1 and 3 sound kinda kinky (being able to use both hands and doing interesting things with your tongue = naughty )so i think they could be true :D
Btw, Eric told me he will have to go on a trip to NC in may, not sure where but i hope somewhere close enough to meet you guys!! :)
ByStarlight 03-18-2007, 01:55 AM lol patrick stewart :D must be that bald thing ;-)
i'm guessing ... #1. i don't think she's a lefty.
Trish 03-18-2007, 03:47 AM I'm not doing very well at this guessing stuff but I'll go with #1. I think I remember that Nadine is left-handed....not self-taught....
Nadine is adorable and awesome and Alec is one blessed guy....
Natters 03-18-2007, 05:36 AM i'll go for number 1 too, but if that is true, well done you! i'm sure thats very difficult to do...
Blinocac200sx 03-18-2007, 09:42 AM I'm gonna say #2.
I'm going with #1 because I feel like you've talked about liking NKOTB before and #3 just seems like something you be able to do (and do well).
BandT16yrs 03-18-2007, 09:09 PM I'm going to go with number 2.
I know people who have taught themselves to be ambidextrous (sp?)
I also know people who can twist tongues in weird ways
However, to still be a fan of new kids on the block... far fetched, maybe.
still going with #2
jesique 03-18-2007, 09:40 PM Can I just say that I love that picture of Texas with my name in it?!!! :D Awesome.
So when do I get to tell yall what the truth really is about me??? :D
Oh...and thank you all for all the kind words...yall have become like family to me!!! :D Party in North Carolina!!!
Nadine.
chikygrl13 03-18-2007, 09:54 PM #1 deffinatly!!!!!

Emzak 03-19-2007, 11:09 AM Can I just say that I love that picture of Texas with my name in it?!!! :D Awesome.
I thought you might. :D
So when do I get to tell yall what the truth really is about me???
Whenever you want! I, for one, am dying of curiousity.
golf4al 03-19-2007, 01:42 PM I think number 3 is the lie, all you can do is stick out your toungue!:p
Malani 03-19-2007, 02:33 PM Hmm... #1?
jesique 03-19-2007, 04:17 PM Drumroll please...........
Number 1 is the lie. I am very much right handed and have never taught myself to be left handed.
:D
I still love NKOTB...I can't help it. They were really the first boy band to take full advantage of marketing. I had so much of their crap. I even had a sweater with their names sewn all over it!!! :D
I can curl my tongue so that it looks like a "W" I call it my moose tongue. *grin*
Nadine.
Goldfire 03-19-2007, 05:49 PM :D

Nadine.
LMAO!!!! I was a huge NKOTB fan in 8th grade.:o
I saw a show on VH-1 where they tried to reunite them, but Danny wasn't having it.
Hey, we all have our guilty pleasures, right? Harmless.
jesique 03-19-2007, 10:18 PM :D Exactly! :D
It's not so much that I LOVE them still...but I have appreciation for thier music now when I hear it again. :D
Nadine.
chikygrl13 03-20-2007, 12:14 AM yeah... i still have all their albums...
but I don't think I could admit that in public!!
I had a friend who still had thier poster up in her room, everyone use to tease her relentlessly!!!
Trish 03-20-2007, 04:07 AM If I was a member of the NKOTB generation, I probably would have liked them because in my day I loved.....
Paul Revere and the Raiders
Herman's Hermits
The Dave Clark Five....
The Monkees (each one talented in their own right...but definitely a product of marketing)
And a bunch of other guy bands from the 60's....
Of course, I was also a MAJOR Beatles fan.....and there's absolutely no comparison to any of the others....
From my daughter's generation I really liked the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync....very talented guys....
chikygrl13 03-20-2007, 04:35 AM From my daughter's generation I really liked the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync....very talented guys....
okay you must be smoking something to think that those PIECES OF CRAP were talented!!!! (unless of course you are a 12 year old girl)
Trish 03-20-2007, 04:44 AM okay you must be smoking something to think that those PIECES OF CRAP were talented!!!! (unless of course you are a 12 year old girl)
Actually, when I've listened to them I was completely straight and sober. I've heard N'Sync sing acappella and their harmony was great. I've been around a long time, I know music, and my taste spans generations. I know talent when I see it.
jesique 03-20-2007, 10:16 AM Trish...
I'll give you N'SYNC...but I draw the line at the Backstreet Boys!!! :D
I miss BoysIIMen. :D
Nadine.

Whew!!!!! :p ;) :D
jesique 03-20-2007, 12:13 PM Trish...warn a girl before you do that! I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. :D
Could those eyebrows get any bigger and bushier???!!!
Nadine.
