So, Shan, is there something you’ve always wanted to learn?

I’ve always wanted to learn the fiddle, not the violin, but the fiddle. It is probably the most soulful instrument there is aside from the mandolin. My mamaw has a neighbor from North Hamptonshire, England and he plays the fiddle. As I walk by their house, I can hear him practicing. It always puts a bounce in my step.
How do you usually spend your Sundays?
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=91&dateline=1175130108:
Almost every Sunday morning the girls and I wake and get ready for church where my dad is pastor. We then go out to dinner with my folks and the rest of the afternoon is spent lounging, which includes watching movies or reading. The evening is spent getting reading for the upcoming workweek.
What is the single most defining moment in your life?

That is a tough question. I’d be tempted to say the birth of my daughters and while those were two of the most precious moments, I don’t think they were defining moments; defining as in determining or discovering who I really am. I think the most defining moment was when I went back to school for biology education. I was over thirty and I finally realized how capable I really was. Finding my niche helped me define who I am.
What quality do you appreciate most in a friend?
http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=91&dateline=1175130108:
Steadfast. A friend who is steadfast, who is always a friend no matter what happens, no matter how weird I may be at the time and still loves me regardless of my unlovely ways is a true friend.
Tell us two truths and one lie--the other members will be asked to guess which is which.

I once went out on a date with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair.
I once won a amateur erotic dancing contest during my first stint at college.
I write. Currently I’m researching a Science Fiction novel, but I’ve written or half written Historical Romance Novels and a Thriller of sorts.
