If you look at my avatar, you will see that I now have a country flag next to it. Since so many members are not from the U.S. and I often forget who's from where, I thought it'd be helpful to have a little reminder. :D
Go to User Controls:Edit Profile (http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/profile.php?do=editprofile) and you will see that a new "country" field has been added at the bottom. Pick your country from the drop-down box, and voila, your country flag will appear next to your avatar. ;)
Gives me an error. Tells me I've added an invalid birthday.
and, could you add the various planets and other galaxies?
My choices are so limited:D

This is the "current" flag of Mars, approved by The Mars Society and The Planetary Society:

This is the flag of the human settlers on Mars, according the Red Mars book trilogy:

Really????
In any case, the flags are supposed to help me figure out who's from where (seriously), so that when people ask a long distance or general relationship question, I don't automatically assume that they are from the U.S. :)
:hmm: What did you put in for your birthday?
I didn't.

I didn't.
Ah, hence the problem. ;)
The new software requires a valid birthday, either when you first sign up or when you go to edit your profile.
It's also helpful for me because your birthday will then show up on the MTaG calendar and we will be able to wish you happy birthday when the day comes. :D
