Guess who we have on the hot seat today?

You all know him...

You all like him...

It's Gtsnapper! :D

http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=79&dateline=1171914122

As many of you know, Gtsnapper moved across the Atlantic just to be with his sweetie. Let's find out more about this charming British import: ;)

What is your favorite color? Has it always been your favorite color since childhood?

http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=79&dateline=1171914122:

I like white, although many argue white’s not really a color, but I like it. I even just bought a white cell phone  :D
In my childhood blue was my favorite color, but now I prefer brighter ones.

Who has a bigger shoe collection--you or your wife?

http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=79&dateline=1171914122:

My Wife certainly has the bigger shoe collection, and even she doesn’t know how many pairs of shoes she owns :p Much to her dismay, I am very simple when it comes to shoes. In total I own 3 pairs of shoes, 1 smart pair, 1 pair of snickers, and one pair of sandals.

What's the one item you love in the U.S. that you can't get back in the U.K.?

http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=79&dateline=1171914122:

This is a very tough question, as I like quite a few products that are available over here. At the moment I’m going to say Mountain Dew, somebody should introduce that to the UK, they’d make a fortune.

Do you plan on sticking with British spelling or will you be switching to American spelling?

http://www.mindtheagegap.com/forum/image.php?u=79&dateline=1171914122:

I try as far as possible to use the American spelling, and to adopt new words like, gas, comforter, band aid, etc. I actually adopted the American spelling a little before coming here. My University’s computer system was (for some reason) permanently stuck with the US format of spelling correct. My Professors didn’t seem to have a problem with this.

Tell us two truths and one lie--the other members will be asked to guess which is which.

I am currently for the first time ever, growing a goatee.

I own an Xbox 360, and love it.

I will have been married for 2 years in September

The thing about Mountain Dew is so true. I warned Tony that if he visited, he'd struggled without that. He usually drinks one a day. I've never figured out why they don't have it over here- it seems like it would do well.

Hahahaha! Mountain Dew is a very sweet, caffienated soda. Yummers! Even the diet version is yummers.

#1 is the lie. I'm pretty sure you are coming up on your second anniversary and all men love video games, right?

While it's true men love video games, the Xbox is evil.

#1 too! :)

Heh the 3 pairs of shoes must be a men's thing. Eric has the boots and shoes that go with the uniform (though those do not count because he HAS to have them), sport shoes, dressier shoes, and 'casual' winter shoes. :D

Well he owns a pair of home shoes that he got after telling me a million times he needed and has worn like hmm twice :D

Not all men love video games, I like them but I don't love them! I think it's a waste of time if you play them too much! But I know this is a truth...all women love shoes...and clothes...and diamonds...and flowers...etc!:p :p :p :D

I pick number 2!

#1 is true. At the time of answering these questions, I tried growing a goatee, like a lot of the local men do here. Except I started to more resemble some of the people on the Polices most wanted list, so I shaved it off. Goatees are not for me.

#2 is false. Although I do like console games, I have a very low bordem threshold, and if I owned an Xbox 360, it would probably find it's way to the back of my closet pretty quickly.

#3 is also true. Our second anniversary is in September, and every year just gets better. :D

Thanks for guessing!

As well as the tennis shoes, you'll need a pair of wranglers and a t-shirt to blend in :D Beside you could pass as a Mexican-American already :D.

Hah!True, it is funny that no one has ever suggested such thing to me though (being mexican that is) Today we went to a store called Plaza Latina and i talked to the cashier in spanish...it kinda felt like home with an accent *sniff*
