Define "clogged up".

It's never been a problem for me.

Although on "heavier" days, it can get uncomfortable--especially if the man is really pounding ya. LOL, but true.

Ive never done it and NEVER will....

It makes me nauseous to think about doing it :o

Well, you don't mean doing it with a tampon in, because that is a BIG NO NO!! You can get toxic shock syndrome from the tampon touching your cervix. I've only known one person stupid enough to do that :rolleyes: ...but I won't name names.

Basically, the biggest issue is the unhealthiness of it. Nothing can get "clogged" up there, but it is kinda unhealthy. You probably want to shower or clean up afterwards.

I've done it and I don't mind, my boyfriend isn't a big fan because he thinks its gross, but...I don't think it hurts anything.

while it may gross some people out and is a big NoNo if you're Jewish (something about being "unclean, and you need to go to the mikvah afterwards and can't even sleep in the same bed as your husband.)

Just lay down a towel and go at it... or enjoy IN the shower. Wonderful. Never any dryness issues (NOT that I have that problem anymore... something about hitting the beginning of my peak, eh?) and if you're using the rhythm method its AWESOME and hell if you wanna miss one of the two weeks you CAN do it safely. Oh, and tampon's are nasty unnatural things ~ and Litical the plumber would LOUDLY tell you ~ DO NOT FLUSH TAMPONS. No matter what the freakin' box says, DO NOT flush them. They can get caught on the pipes and clog your main sewer drain. :rolleyes:

I personally don't do it...I just find it kind of icky and I feel really gross. So I happily avoid it!

OMG that's too funny!!! Ya, I agree. I like to have sex anytime of the month, but I can see where others may be uncomfortable.

I think to each his own...but I also think that a lot of people dismiss it as gross without ever trying it.

It's not that gross...and most of the time it's not that messy.

Once you get aroused the blood kinda stops flowing in order to get the other wet stuff flowing...sorry to get technical. *grin*

We would only have sex on my period when we were long distance and I would come home for a weekend which happened to be my period. Still, i don't think it was his FAVORITE thing in the world.

Now we just let is pass. But it's not gonna harm you to do it.

First two day, not very interested. After that...woohoo! Bring it on. And in my experience Nadine is right, once things get started the blood flow pretty much stops and it seems to end my period quicker.

Yep.. it sure is, ReiRei. Happens to me everytime. Slows down and ends earlier. It also makes any cramps go AWAY.

As for not "gettin' in the mood" if you keep thinking about how messy it is, that can kill the mood, but once you try it you get over it quick. It's excellent. Wish I had opened up to do it more when I was younger and had dryness issues. :rolleyes:
