I have a reason for asking....

I was probably 16 when I decided sex must not be as gross as previously thought

I knew what a vibrator was when I was about 14, I had senior guys as friends when I was a freshman who decided they should do their best to corrupt the innocent new mind.

i never thought it was gross...i was like 8 the first time i remember getting excited...it was watching a naked girl on tv :eek:

i thought if made you feel good it could not be bad...but in my house my mom always talked about sex openly,so i kinda new what it was.

about toys i guess i was older,maybe 14 or so?i cannot remember actually,i dont own any so i guess that did not impressed me much lol :p

I was probably about 14 or 15 when I started thinking sex wasn't gross.

As for a vibrator or dildo...probably around the same time.

Ummm...well I pretty much never thought sex was gross. I can remember the first time I....well...um....masturbated and I was nine. So, never thought it was gross.

I have no idea when I learned what a vibrator was. It seems like one of those things that I just universally knew. LOL

Sex isn't gross? JUST KIDDING. I honestly don't remember. Maybe about 15 or 16?

Dildo? Vibrator? Maybe around 17 or 18. Even though I had found the Joy of Sex book in the back of my Dad's basement desk drawer around age 7, I didn't know what any ANY of that stuff was about. :eek: LOL Putting two and two together didn't happen until I was MUCH older.

Well, when I was about 16 or 17 I knew where babies came from but I didn't know how they got there. lol! I'm not kidding! Well, I kind of knew because my dad had a medical encyclopedia that I looked at. But I was so niave....well, my father and step-mother never had the "birds and bees" talk with us. Maybe because they never had sex....it wasn't on their radar screen. Ironically, I found out I was pregnant with my son on my 19th birthday....I've always been a fast learner. :D :p

Oh, and I've NEVER thought any of it was gross.... ;) :D

Now as far as how I handled it with my own children....they more or less grew up knowing. I gave them information as was needed at different ages. I remember one of the first times Jess and I talked about oral sex. lol! She said "Ewwwww! That is so disgusting! I will never do that!!!!" She had also made the statement that she had no intentions of ever cooking and cleaning either. So I said "Well, between no cooking and cleaning, and no oral sex, you'll NEVER get a man!" She didn't think that was funny!!! :D

oh I'm fine with it. we talk about it all the time. and when she said she'd never seen a penis we went online and got a flaccid one and an erect one.

yesterday she says out of the clear blue...MOMMY, I've never seen a dildoe.

OH ok... i just didn't know what was one at her age. I told her we could use a cucumber then put it in the salad.....

My mom talked to me about sex since I was born, in all the detail. So I guess I figured sex wasn't gross at about 5-6.

I'd say the realization that sex wasn't gross was around 14-15....but the dildo....hmm....I kinda knew what it was supposed to accomplish I guess maybe around 17.....but never attempted to use one to find out the real deal til I was about 22
