I think this is a totally opinionated subject, so I have left everyone to their opinions. To each her own. My boobs are too big. I have F's and it is almost impossible to find bras anywhere. I would like to know that I'm not alone in this irritating struggle. I know women with a smaller cup size probably have this same issue. It is just very irritating that I have to go to specialty stores for bras when I see a lot of women walking around that have WAY bigger boobs then me, so where do they get their bras??? This is sort of a rant, I will admit it. I'm just tired of wearing old lady bras like I'm 100 years old just because I have big boobs. Plus, shirts are a struggle because they're always too small on top and I'm practically exploding out of the top of them while the bottom part around my stomach and waistline fits perfect. I do NOT want to look like a bimbo!! Grrr.... I'm sure women with a small bust have the opposite issue and they want to voice their frustrations as well... anyone tired of not fitting the ABCD mold?!

I'm only 34D but still have to wear the horrible old ladies bras as the prettier ones just don't do the job! So you are not alone
It's sports bras or nothing at the moment.

Sounds like you need to look into getting a reduction. Do you have back pain?
I'm a 38D and that's more than big enough for me. If I were bigger than I am now I'd be looking into a reduction, but that's me. Life's too short to go through life with back pain and being uncomfortable. |

Ditto. I actually wear closer to a 32D but those are IMPOSSIBLE to find so I can fit into a couple 34s without having too much extra room but I usually stick to sports bras. Horrible, I know.

I have 38DD but I love wearing sports bras....they are so comfy and have venting round the bottom edge so you dont get sweating and chafing. For work, day to day and the gym you cant beat them for support and comfort. Not so good for sexy though. My 22 yo daughter has G cups and had a lot of trouble with back pain and dickhead men making comments. She has her bras made by a corsetier, who designs beautiful bras for her, lovel material, not nanna straps etc. It cost her $170 for the initial fitting and $90 a bra. Not bad and avoids a life of despair and aching shoulders. When I need new bras I am going to go and get some made, they are beautiful.

I was a 34D and it took me till last summer to find a bra that was comfortable, supporting, and cute (I can only imagine what you women with larger chests must go through). And then this past summer I mysteriously lost some of my chest so I'm now wavering between a C and D, but don't actually fit either. I don't think I've lost any weight, but suddenly all the bras I bought last year are gaping. Which really sucks because bras aren't cheap. I'll wear sport bras around the house and too bed, but I don't feel comfortable going out in public in them. I don't feel that they give me enough support.

I use to be a 36B even after I had my son. I was happy. Then I took Flexeril due to disc problems and had a second puberty and became a 36C. After Nim and breastfeeding I went to a D, BUT oddly found out I'd been wearing the wrong size all along. I'm really a 34D. SO, with that said, I hate them. I can NEVER find cheap bras in my size. I have to go to specialty stores to get the 34's - 36D or 38D are always at normal stores, but not 34.
Either that or all the other 34D's here bought them before I got there. LOL. It doesn't seem that losing weight is affecting my boob size either. *sigh* All those dresses in my closet I'll probably never be able to wear again - perhaps Lira will, though. Unless she gets cursed with the really big boobs some of the women in my family have. I spent a long time, Jehanne, between B and C. Neither fit. It was frustrating. But yeah, I found the bra that Oprah sponsored at Nordstrom and lemme tell you, it ROCKS. It's full coverage, but it's still rocking pretty and has held up REALLY well through a year + worth of washings - I got three of them... ~phos |

Big boobied women
Whoever made the "a lot of big-boobied women on this site" comment... very true. I usually end up going to a Lane Bryant specialty store about an hour from my house to get bras. It is irritating because almost of the clothes are too big (it's a plus size women's store), but the majority of the bras are too small. I am cheap with bras too right now, because I'm in college, thus I'm poor. I gained a cup size when I started Yaz, a birth control pill, and this was the final straw in the "I hate my boobs" campaign. It's interesting to me that everyone's who's replied has or knows someone that has issues finding the right-fitting bra. Maybe this should say something to the retailers who sell these blasted things!!!

Seriously, all you big-busted women should check this bra out. It has made a world of difference for my back pain and my chest doesn't fall out when I bend over anymore.
